Praveen Dandamudi, MD, MBA, FASN, FACP

Praveen Dandamudi, or “Dr. Dan,” is a skilled physician practicing at Southern Kidney Specialists, a nephrology practice where Dr. Dan serves patients at their Nashville, Tennessee location. Dr. Dandamudi originally hails from the Midwest. He was born in the great city of Detroit and grew up in Michigan. He completed his undergraduate and medical school training in a program at Creighton University in Omaha. He then completed both his internal medicine and nephrology training at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He is board certified in internal medicine, nephrology & hypertension. Dr. Dandamudi also earned his MBA at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School. Dr. Dan is the Co-Founder of Southern Kidney Specialists. He is a Medical Director of multiple dialysis centers, Division Chief of Nephrology at Centennial Medical Center, Nephrology Subspecialty Coordinator, and Faculty Member of Centennial Medical Center’s Internal Medicine Residency Program. He has held roles as a Member and Chair of various hospital committees, Physician Advisor to case management, and Consultant in the healthcare technology space. In his spare time, Dr. Dandamudi enjoys spending time with his boys, playing tennis, and listening to various podcasts. He is proud to call Nashville his home and to continue cultivating his new southern roots.​ Dr. Dandamudi believes in taking a holistic approach to kidney care. He is accepting new patients at his clinic located in Nashville. He is available to see patients that are admitted to Centennial Medical Center; Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital, Midtown and West; Summit Medical Center; and Williamson Medical Center.

W. Nina Lowery, NP-C

Nina is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with deep roots in the Nashville community. She earned her undergraduate degree from Middle Tennessee State University before pursuing her graduate studies at Tennessee State University. Subsequently, she achieved national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Raised in Nashville, Nina is passionate about serving the community she calls home. For the past five years, she has specialized in nephrology, providing comprehensive care to patients throughout Davidson and Williamson counties.

Nina brings a strong clinical background, a compassionate approach, and a commitment to high-quality patient care to our team.
